Athletics - Kensington Woods High School

Campus Life > Athletics

Members of the Kensington Woods High School Athletics teams have, above all, an attitude oriented towards success. All team members are of equal importance and we all work together to achieve personal and team goals. Through working as a team, we can all achieve more than the individual.

Because of the small nature of Kensington Woods, the athletic program has a non-intimidating feel. Many students who have never played the sport before, or who wouldn't have tried out at their home school, feel comfortable playing for the Bears. The department's philosophy is one focused on continual improvement and sportsmanship.

Each team member represents Kensington Woods and the Kensington Woods community proudly, adding to a developing legacy of commitment, teamwork and success. Each team member acts in a manner that exceeds what is befitting of a student-athlete and is held to high expectations of performance, behavior and attendance on the course, in the classroom and in life. It is the goal of the Kensington Woods High School Athletic Department to provide team members a resource for lifelong interest in athletics and fitness and development in other arenas in life, becoming both the best possible athlete and person each team member can be.
