All School Campout 2009
The 4th Annual KWHS Campout will be held August 30 - September 1 (NOTE: the dates on the fliers at the Open House on June 9 had the wrong dates). This year the campout is open to all students, not just freshman, because so many students want to do it again! We will camp for two nights in the Mason Tract Wilderness near Grayling, MI, and canoe for one day on the beautiful South Branch of the Ausable River, known as the holy water to fly fishermen. Mr. Maxwell will be our cook again this year, and if you sampled the food from cooking class at the open house, you know this is a good thing.
The campout is a great way to make friends, meet staff members, relax before school begins, and enjoy the great outdoors. New KWHS students are especially encouraged to attend. Parents are welcome and siblings are welcome with a parent. The cost is $45 per person which includes a KWHS T-shirt.
